So you’ve bought a tree with a house

Many people buying a property may not notice the overgrown conifer hedge next door, the large tree in the garden or the trees on neighbouring property. Trees and hedges can enhance your quality of life when you move into a new property, and they can add greatly to the character and appearance of the setting. But, when this isn’t the case, this can be a cause of anxiety and in some cases conflict.

We can provide you with pre purchase advise in the form of a clear and concise report on any trees or hedges which might affect your enjoyment of a property including:

• Daylight shading
• Nuisance hedges
• Planning constraints (TPO’s / Conservation Areas)

Our reports can identify likely tree related risks to the property, but we do not provide reports on subsidence.
